Henriques take a match into final Day India closing to win


Debutant Australia Player Moises Henriques has played a courageous hand of unbeaten 75 runs in Australia's second innings of 232 for 9 to give the visitors an overall lead of 40 runs after day four of the first Test Match against India.

Ravichandran Ashwin take 5 for 90 after his seven wicket haul in Australia's first innings. Henriques made 68 runs in Australia's first innings, has put on 57 runs for the 10th wicket with Nathan Lyon not out on 8. India allout for 572 runs skipper including MS Dhoni's brilliant knock of 224 runs.

Trailing by 192 runs on the first innings score Australia had seemed innings defeat at 175 for 9 before Lyon and Henriques fight back in a rough display.


Shane Watson made 17 runs and dismissed last ball before lunch and Ed Cowan scored 32 runs. Australia skipper Michael Clarke made century in the first innings he was dismissed for 31 runs. Harbhajan singh removed David Warner for 23 runs. Taildenders Peter Siddle (2), James Pattinson (11), Mitchell Starc (8) dismissed in quickly.

Earlier India had resumed on Day four on 515 for 8 and Dhoni added his score from 206 to 224 before becoming one of fifth wicket for fast bowler James Pattinson (5 for 96).
