India Bowlers restrict Australia to 273 for 7 at Stumps of Day 2


David Warner and Ed Cowan made good start for Aussies but could not make it to big score. India Bowlers fight back well. Australia scored 273 for 7 at the end of the Day two in the 3rd Test on Friday. Steve Smith unbeaten on 58 runs and Mitchell Starc not out on 20.

Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. Aussies openers made solid start, David Warner and Ed Cowan put on 139 runs partnership for 1st wicket. David Warner dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja for 71 runs and followed by Skipper Michael Clarke for duck. Soon after Phillip Hughes also removed by Pragyan Ojha. At one stage Aussies slipped 151 for 3.

Ed Cowan and Steve Smith rebuild the Innings. Ed Cowan out for 86 runs. Ishant Sharma strike twice in 94 th over he got Brad Haddin for 21 and Moises Heriques for duck inside three deliveries. Ravindra Jadeja claimed for 3 for 56 and Ishant Sharma take 2 for 41. Ashwin and Ojha got two wickets each.
