Australia Skipper Michael Clarke reached a brilliant century before close of play lead Australia to 316 for 7 on Day 1 first Test against India

Debut Player Moises Henriques played supportive role when Aussies loss five Wickets. he made 68 runs and added 151 runs partnership for 6th wicket with Michael Clarke. Peter Siddle not out on 1 run.
Local Boy Ravichandran Ashwin showed brilliant bowling display on Day 1. He claimed 6 for 88 runs.
This century was the Michael Clarke's 23rd century.
