Clarke Century take Australia to 316 for 7 on Day 1

Australia Skipper Michael Clarke reached a brilliant century before close of play lead Australia to 316 for 7 on Day 1 first Test against India 

Michael Clarke unbeaten on 103 runs from 169 balls included with 11 fours and one six.

Debut Player Moises Henriques played supportive role when Aussies loss five Wickets. he made 68 runs and added 151 runs partnership for 6th wicket with Michael Clarke. Peter Siddle not out on 1 run.

Local Boy Ravichandran Ashwin showed brilliant bowling display on Day 1. He claimed 6 for 88 runs.

This century was the Michael Clarke's 23rd century.

Australia made a solid start David Warner and Ed Cowan added 64 runs for first wicket. David Warner scored 59 runs and Ed Cowan made 29. Shane Watson (28), and Mathew Wade (12) are quickly fall after lunch.

At One Stage Australia struggled 153 for 5. And then Clarke and Henriques rebuild the Innings.

Michael Clarke reached another Milestone on Day 1. He passed 7000 runs mark. Clarke became the 10th Australian Player to reach 7,000 runs Tests.
