On This Day - Pakistan first Test series win against Australia in the last 20 years

Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq says: 'It is a really special series. Every individual performed and that is a sign of a good team. It really felt great and I can't describe the feeling (on winning the Master Blaster award). It is really great to be here. Everybody was determined and they were really working hard. We were playing good cricket but we were not winning the games. We thought that we just needed to keep the basics right.
The way all the players worked and the way we came back, it has been very good. It is really good to have a leg-spinner like Yasir Shah. He has a really good temperament and handles the pressure. Azhar Ali and Ahmed Shehzad, these guys are going to play even after 7-8 years. It is really important for us to perform well against New Zealand and carry the form.'

they won the two Tests in the UAE by 221 and 356 runs, the latter, in Abu Dhabi, being their biggest ever win. Lots of awards for Pakistan's players, including "most colourful innings" to Azhar Ali. The big ones: Misbah-ul-Haq is the man of the match and Younis Khan is the man of the series.
