Roland-Jones takes four wickets in first 33 balls in Test cricket

A day Toby Roland-Jones will not forget ever. A debut that saw him rip through the top order of the Proteas. After Stokes had helped the hosts cross 350, clouds obliged and rolled the carpet for a grand welcome for the debutant,
who smiled through flashes and scripted a history of his own. Tomrrow will be about Root's decision making. Does he have the faith in his pacers to ask South Africa to come back again or will he chance the fact the Philander is trying to debug his system in some hospital

South Africa bowler Vernon Philander has been taken to hospital

South Africa bowler Vernon Philander has been taken to hospital during the third Test against England. The 32-year-old only bowled 12 overs on day one at The Oval as he complained of reoccurring stomach pain. Despite struggling, Philander took two wickets – removing opener Keaton Jennings and skipper Joe Root – before leaving the field.
The experienced paceman returned on day two but was forced off again after bowling a further five overs. And now Philander has been taken to a nearby hospital to undergo tests – with the bowler reportedly suffering from dehydration. Philander, who has taken 10 wickets in the series, will miss the rest of the day’s play and it is not known whether he will be able to play any further part in the game. Despite Philander’s impressive spell, England surpassed 350 in their first innings thanks to Ben Stokes’ century and Alastair Cook’s 82.

Eoin Morgan's 90-ball hundred helped England to post 339 for 6 at Headingley
