BCCI announced 15 man squad for First Two test against England


Yuvraj Singh, Murali Vijay and Harbhajan Singh have been included in the India's Test since over a year. The New BCCI selection committee announced 15 men squad for the first two test matches against England. Suresh Raina and Badrinath are dropped.

India Test Squad:

MS Dhoni (Captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar, Chetshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Ajinkya Rahane, Murali Vijay, Ravichandran Ashwin, Umesh Yadav, Pragyan Ojha, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, Ishant Sharma

Spinners help India to 90 runs win over England



Harbhajan Singh's 4 for 12 and Rohit Sharma half century helped India to beat England by 90 runs in ICC World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka on Sunday.

Chasing big total of 171 England were allout for 80 runs in 14.4 overs This is the England lowest total in T20 internationals.Harbhajan take 4 wikets for 12 runs and Piyush Chawla and Irfan pathan got two wickets each. Craig Kiewetter top scorer for England with 35 runs.

Earlier Rohit Sharma unbeaten 55 from 33 balls. Gautam Gambhir made 45 runs and Virat Kohli scored 40 runs helped to India post 170 for 4 in 20 overs. Harbhajan Singh named as the Man of the Match for his best bowling figures. 

England and India are already qualified Super Eight stage.

Kohli and Ojha called up as India's injury problems mount



India have suffered a double blow ahead of the third Test against England as both Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh have been ruled out of the remainder of the series.
Harbhajan faces three weeks on the sidelines with a grade one abdominal strain picked up during the 319-run second-Test loss at Trent Bridge, while Yuvraj is out for a month after fracturing his left index finger batting in the same match.
Batsman Virat Kohli and left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha have been called up by the tourists, who trail 2-0 in the four-match series and will surrender their world number one ranking to England with another defeat in the third Test at Edgbaston next week.
"Yuvraj Singh has fractured his left index finger, and Harbhajan Singh has an abdominal muscle strain," read a statement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
"While Yuvraj Singh's injury may take around four weeks to recover, Harbhajan Singh is likely to recover in three weeks' time.
"The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked Virat Kohli and Pragyan Ojha as their replacements. Both players will join the Indian team at the earliest opportunity."
India have a two-day warm-up fixture against Northamptonshire, starting on Friday, before the third Test gets under way at Edgbaston on August 10.
Opener Virender Sehwag is set to arrive after recovering from shoulder surgery and could play at Northampton, while India are waiting on the fitness of pace spearhead Zaheer Khan (hamstring) and top-order batsman Gautam Gambhir (elbow), who both sat out the Trent Bridge defeat.
