Cheema claims four wickets in latest Harare triumph
Pakistan eased to a 28-run victory over Zimbabwe to secure a 3-0 whitewash win in the three-match series at Harare.
Pace bowler Aizaz Cheema claimed career-best figures of 4-43 as Zimbabwe was restricted to 242-9 in response to Pakistan's 270-5.
Cheema mixed up his pace well to removeBrendan Taylor (6), Malcolm Waller (19), Elton Chigumbura (9) and Ray Price (10).
Spinner Yasir Shah also picked up two wickets as Zimbabwe collapsed after openers Vusi Sibanda (59) and Chamu Chibhabha (62) had shared a century partnership.
Pakistan stalwart Younis Khan (81) and Asad Shafiq (51) had earlier combined in a 97-run partnership to help the tourists to a competitive total.
The pair came together after Brian Vitori had snared Mohammad Hafeez and Chigumbura lured Imran Farhat into a loose shot to Chibhabha at cover.
Younis stroked six fours and launched Prosper Utseya for a huge six as he made 81 from 90 balls, while Shafiq provided useful support with 51 from 72 deliveries.
A seventh one-day international century eluded Younis when he presented a return catch to Kyle Jarvis, however some heavy hitting down the order from Misbah-Ul-Haq (29 from 28) saw Pakistan to a healthy 270-5.
In reply, Zimbabwe started strongly, Sibanda and Chibhabha adding 110 for the first wicket inside 26 overs.
It wasn't until spin was introduced into the attack that Zimbawe crumbled with Sibanda (59) and Chibhabha (62) falling in quick successive to Yasir and Shoaib Malik respectively.
From there Zimbabwe's challenge faltered, despite Tatenda Taibu (27) and Hamilton Masakadza (21) making promising starts to their innings.
Cheema bamboozled the Zimbabwe middle-order and a third successive victory was sealed when the hosts finished the 50th over 28 runs adrift.
