Aussies make positive start

Australia made a quickfire start with the bat in response to England's massive declared total of 5-620 and go into lunch at 0-78 on day four of the second Ashes Test at Adelaide Oval.
The Aussies still trail England by a massive 297 runs with Shane Watson not out on 35 and an injured Simon Katich also unbeaten on 42, who appears to be struggling with an Achilles problem.
Despite his injury, the left-hander has produced some fine shots with six boundaries while Watson has smashed seven fours.
Openers Katich and Watson made an aggressive start in a bid to give the home side some hope of salvaging a result from the match.
The pair smashed nine boundaries in the first nine overs and raced to 0-44 with Katich belting James Anderson for three fours in one over before Graeme Swann was brought in to stem the flow and stop Australia's rapid run rate.
The introduction of spin obviously worked as it took Australia another nine overs to find their next boundary while only managing to add 12 runs in the meantime.
Katich and Watson were feeling the pressure from some brilliant bowling by Swann with the England spinner enjoying plenty of turn from the Adelaide track.
The Australian pair survived a couple of close calls with Katich clipping one to square leg that flew through the hands of Alastair Cook at short leg before he was almost run out by Anderson in the same over as he hobbled between the wickets.
Stuart Broad heads into the break as England's best with the ball registering 0-11 from eight overs while Swann finished the session with 0-14.
