1st Test: Ind eye early wickets on day 4

Ahmedabad: Late wicket of centurion Jesse Ryder (103) should raise Indian hopes of getting into a winning position on day four of the the Motera Test on Saturday. New Zealand, though, would look to build on a possibly match-saving partnership of 194 runs between Ryder and debutant Kane Williamson (87 nout out) and take the first Test towards a draw.
Having easily saved the follow-on, the Kiwis will not hope to inch as close as possible to the India's first innings score of 487 and eat up time in the process to kill chances of an Indian win.
However, with Ryder gone, India would look to make early strikes on the fourth morning on Sunday to keep New Zealand under 400 and taken a lead close to 100.
Skipper Daniel Vettori has proved that he is no mug with the bat and with Williamson showing good promise, New Zealand are far from being out of this match.
